June 21st is historically the first day of summer – although this year, summer officially began the day before. But with the sun shining and plenty of good food, the summer day proved to be ideal for another tenant get-together at Fremont Business Park at Christy Street.
Good Food, Good Friends
Fremont Business Park is a remarkably diverse business community — home to not only a wide array of high technology companies, but also to many non-technology companies. The turnout for the lunchtime TEAM Christy event was outstanding – approximately 165 people gathered to enjoy the delicious BBQ prepared by caterer, Simply Stunning.
The menu was the prefect picnic fare – hamburgers, hot dogs, and for non-meat-eaters, yummy veggie burgers… plus plenty of cold drinks to wash it all down. Best of all, it was free!
In addition, it was clear that some savvy business owners were using the BBQ lunch to explore appetizing business opportunities with fellow tenants within Fremont Business Park. Business success today is as much about whom you know as what you do. Throughout the two hours, people met, mingled and networked – and there’s no telling how many great ideas got shared or how much business got done.
People were clustered in small groups chatting, and a few were in animated discussions that certainly could have led to deals. The TriCastle Partnership and Borelli Investment Company – which sponsored the BBQ – received many good comments from people as the event ended.
If you missed the picnic, don’t despair. Look for the next of these periodic lunchtime TEAM Christy business networking opportunities coming soon!
Space Is Going Fast
