Crystal Ball Gazing: Register Now for Fremont Economic Forecast

January 27, 2011 by Fremont Business Park

If you do business in Fremont, you already have a vital interest in the state of Fremont’s economy, as well as that of the Bay Area region at large. In either case, there’s a free event coming up that you can’t afford to miss.

Annual Economic Forecast
The City of Fremont will present its annual forecast regarding Fremont’s economy on Thursday, February 3rd. Brad Kemp of Beacon Economics – a Marin County and Los Angeles-based firm that specializes in qualitative and quantitative macroeconomic research and analysis – will be the featured speaker.

Thursday, February 3, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Fremont City Hall, City Council Chambers
3300 Capitol Avenue
Fremont, CA 94538

Kemp is Beacon’s director of regional research and is an expert on California’s labor markets. So, if you want to know what’s going on with the state’s high unemployment rates and prospective hiring, Kemp’s presentation should be particularly enlightening.

The event will be especially important for commercial and residential real estate professionals as well as for businesses located within or considering a move to Fremont. Even though it’s free, you can’t just show up. To register, e-mail Kim Marshall or call (510) 284-4020.
