Recent news reports have revealed that office leasing was hot in Silicon Valley in 2011. Fremont Business Park — which offers highly professional, affordable space at the gateway to the Valley targeted to the needs of smaller businesses — was one of the hottest complexes during the past year. And judging from recent activity, that’s carrying over in a big way into 2012.

Fremont Business Parkrecently signed leases with three new tenants and seven current occupants that are either extending their leases or expanding to a larger suite within the complex.

Vdopia — one of the most exciting venture-backed startups in Silicon Valley — has chosen Fremont Business Park for its headquarters. The company, which also has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and in Gurgaon and Mumbai, India, provides an advanced mobile advertising platform and network for rich media and video advertising on smartphones. Led by founder Chhavi Upadhyay, Vdopia’s products and services include pre-app video and social networking options on smart mobile devices — helping to create better monetization opportunities for app developers. Vdopia’s brand-centric mobile advertising network and platform has attracted top developers and well-known brands such as Coca-Cola, Warner Brothers and Miller Lite to deliver premium advertising campaigns. Established in 1982, Interior Specialists is a design center and residential flooring contractor dedicated exclusively to serving new homebuyers. The company provides a broad selection of floor coverings, countertops and window treatments designed for new home purchases. Interior Specialists has satisfied more than 100,000 customers within the past decade alone — working with homebuyers from locations throughout Southern California. Now, as it begins its fourth decade, Interior Specialists is coming to Northern California to serve homebuyers in communities all over the region from its new Fremont location. Founded in 2010, GreenCube is an environmentally friendly high-tech company serving clients in a variety of industries. The local division of the Missouri-based company will offer consulting services and deliver process products to customers in the water business, water utilities, engineering firms, and other industry segments. GreenCube’s services range from process audits and troubleshooting to workshops and recommending best operational practices. The local division will start with four part-time employees, but hopes to grow to 10 to 20 people by Q3 of 2013 — making Fremont Business Park’s flexibility in accommodating the space needs of fast-growing companies like GreenCube particularly valuable. 
Long-time member of the Fremont Business Park community, StratApps, has expanded into more than 2,000 square feet and signed a lease extension that will keep the company within the office park for some time. StratApps provides businesses with the software tools and guidance needed to make better business decisions so they can capitalize on the expected revenue-generating opportunities as the economy improves. StratApps clients are able to make sense of the gigabytes or terabytes of data that they collect but seldom use effectively. With StratApps, businesses have the option of working on almost any technology platform — from Oracle to Business Objects. The company also writes custom solutions for companies in a variety of industries, from financial services to media and entertainment. 
Abjayon is a five-year-old IT professional services firm that provides strategic solutions in areas ranging from software development and information security to quality assurance services and remote monitoring. The company, which came to Fremont Business Park in 2010, specializes in supplying expert assistance to its clients for contract, contract-for-hire and full-time professional staffing. Abjayon is much more than a résumé-forwarding service — taking the time to get to know its clients so it can better identify qualified candidates and recommend those individuals who will be the best fit. The object is to save clients time, money and resources — while meeting their professional staffing needs. 
Infometry has also called Fremont Business Park home since late 2010. The company offers highly sophisticated consulting capabilities in a number of specialties, including business intelligence, data warehouse implementation, enterprise performance management, “big data” analytics, enterprise search and text analytics, and corporate training for business intelligence.
